K-6 Ministries

As the world has come out of isolation, we have seen greater unification in our ministry. We have welcomed many new and returning families, and we have seen our team grow through new and returning serves. It has been such a joy to see our classrooms filling up with children as the restrictions are lifted.
In the much that was taken from us during the pandemic, we have also seen CrossRoads kids giving back. Our kids have raised more than $1,500 for Haiti Arise so far this year. What a blessing! We have continued to sponsor two families in the Children’s Village and we have seen our kids giving generously to this important mission.

We are not only rising up to the challenges of ministering in a post pandemic world, but in the midst of it we are seeing kids rising up in their faith, growing to be faithful disciples of Jesus through insightful questions, genuine worship, thoughtful prayers and baptism.

Ministry ReportsJust a few highlights from this year -- Firstly, the gratitude month. Our kids spent the entire month externalizing gratitude in their homes and communities through the gratitude bingo. At the end of the month, we celebrated together with 54 kids and team at our Gratitude Fest! In January, our “We’re the Church” series helped our kids get to know our pastors at CrossRoads better as we welcomed them to host a series on how we can be the Church! We also hosted two events for families: the Daddy/Daughter Date Night and the Mom/Son Date Night. Both of these were a huge success as we saw families coming together for a night dedicated to them, giving them a chance to reconnect with other families. A huge highlight of our year was the return of our in-person Faith @ Home events! We also recently relaunched our 56ers Connect events, and we are excited to build deeper relationships among our pre-teens as we gather together. We also had the immense privilege of baptizing eight of our kids this year. That is something to celebrate!

As we continue to grow, we could not be more appreciative of our K-6 team! We’re so blessed by the people who sacrificially serve week after week, and for the way they love and invest in the lives of our children at CrossRoads. We have hosted two team trainings this year and look forward to continuing to journey with our team as we serve together. However, as we continue to grow, our need for help also grows. If you want to be a part of this rewarding ministry, get in touch with us. We would love to invite you to rise up with us.
