What is Compassion?

Each year on Christmas Eve, CrossRoads Church allocates 100% of all offerings and gifts towards our relief & community development efforts. This work is done through our trusted partners in Haiti, Uganda, Rwanda and right here in our very own city and region. In the same way God gave His Son to us, we give our gifts to others. We call it Compassion.

This year's theme is "Stronger Together". In Ecclesiastes 4:12 it says, "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not easily broken." In these words, Solomon is emphasizing the strength of working together.

We would love for you to participate; you can join us in prayer, volunteer, go on a short term outreach, or you can give a financial gift that will cause ripple effects across generations.

Compassion Booklet, 2024 Edition

The Missions staff at CrossRoads have compiled updates from our Local and Global Partners, along with prayer items, stories and more! This edition is focused on our four partner areas; global partnerships in Uganda, Haiti, and Rwanda, and our local partnerships which include Hope Mission, Outreach Centre, and Central Alberta Youth Unlimited.
