On Thurs, June 11th the sun shone beautifully for us as we celebrated our volunteers from Community Life, ECM, and K-6. Over the past few months, we asked our serves to pivot quickly with the onset of COVID-19 and you stepped up to the plate. Thank you! We cannot say this enough. Through your adjustments, ideas, and support we have been able to keep people connected into [online] community and families learning about Jesus.
A drive-thru celebrated our volunteers with a team of staff members to welcome, hand out gifts, create entries into a grande prize, hand out prizes from spinning a wheel, and send each vehicle off in prayer. We embraced the opportunity to chat and catch up with those who chose to come and missed seeing those who didn't! Here's a glimpse into the day.
