Prayer Reflection – March 31, 2023
2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)
14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
1 Thessalonians 1:2-3 (NIV)
2 We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. 3 We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 5:8-9 (NIV)
8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
Our hope is in Jesus. As we anticipate Easter, I invite you to pause and express thanks to our Father.
What are you thankful for today? How would you express thanks to your Heavenly Father?
Who are you thankful for? Who are you praying for?
We are in a daily battle with an enemy seeking to destroy us, but we can stand firm in our faith in Jesus. No matter what we may be facing today, we can stand firm in Jesus (see Matthew 7:24-29; Romans 5:1-8).
As you pause today with Jesus and His word, consider reflecting on these songs as you worship Him:
The Lord bless you!
Sincerely yours in Jesus,
Pastor Dave
