What a wonderful Wednesday! It’s hard to believe it’s Wednesday already. Today we participated in the commissioning of the women’s staff dormitory, what a great presentation by students, staff, and dignitaries. Much gratitude was expressed from the staff and students of Buikwe Secondary School.
With the female teachers now able to live on campus, the security and effectiveness of teaching is significantly increased. Harriet, one of the teachers, currently walks 5 kms from home to the campus each day. She shared how much of a blessing it will be for her to live on campus, especially in the rainy season when she sometimes is not able to make the walk due to poor walking conditions.
In the afternoon, Eleanor, William, and Brenda ventured to the secondary school to catch up with some familiar faces from our trip three years ago and met some new friends too. A lot of our team has been under the weather but slowly we are seeing recovery. Certainly, continue to pray for our health, to be reenergized and that we can continue to be blessed by our partnership here.
